Message from the Jury Commissioner:

If you receive a call regarding your jury service from someone claiming to represent the Court or law enforcement, IT IS A SCAM.  The Court or law enforcement will NEVER call you about your jury service or ask you for money.  Do not under any circumstances pay any money in response to such a call.  If you receive such a call, please contact the Court or law enforcement, or the FBI at (415) 553-7400.

Phone Scams

Monterey County Superior Court has become aware of a telephone scam impersonating court personnel and requesting or demanding a payment. The court would NEVER make such a call. Please do not act on such a call, and instead contact the main court telephone number at (831) 775-5400 for more information.

Court Investigator

The court uses the services of court investigators to complete investigations in conservatorships and guardianships. Investigators are currently assigned to cases as shown below. When serving the court investigator assigned to your case, the following addresses must be used (note: Local Rule 5.01 requires represented parties to serve the court investigator by email only):
